The Duchy of Ashbury is within the Kingdom of Evendarr. To the Ashbury's north is the border with the Duchy of Ravenholt. The Duchy of Ashbury is the home of the Ash Forest, the ancestral home of the Amani Elves.
For many years, the Duchy of Ashbury was occupied by a race of beings known as the Sessuar. They came aboard magical ships from a different continent in order to "expand" their Empire and enslave the native races. While under Sessuar occupation, the Duchy of Ashbury was also know as "Expansion Territory 13."
In the Years 604 and 605 E.R., the Evendarrian army and forces allied with them liberated the Duchy from the grip of the Sessuar. Still, it is a Duchy in recovery, and it will take some time before the last remnants of Sessuar occupation are cleansed.
